MYP Grade 10 Personal Project

Personal Project happens during 10th grade.  It is a student-driven, independent project which is a culmination of the student’s journey through the MYP program. The focus is the process that leads to the creation and development of a product.  Project examples include the creation of predictive AI software, writing and publishing of a book and the design of a “green” hotel.

The project challenges students to produce an extended piece of written work (maximum 3,500 words), to engage in personal inquiry, to demonstrate their development of research and time management skills and to reflect on their learning.

Each student is allocated a supervisor to support them through the project. Personal Project students earn  a course grade and credit course credit.
