On behalf of the entire PTA team, we would like to welcome you to IICS and to Istanbul! We hope that during your time at IICS, you and your children will feel welcomed into our community. We also hope your children will enjoy their time at the school while being inspired and challenged to increase their potential as learners.
Our PTA team organizes a variety of social activities for all parents and children to join, with the goal of enriching your experience through your child’s learning journey and helping you discover the wonders of this beautiful city. Alongside planning events, the PTA is committed to supporting students, parents, and teachers in their journey at IICS. We strive to align our work in with the school’s mission and values, serving as a bridge that strengthens our school community.

What is PTA?
The PTA aims to unite the efforts of the teachers, parents and the whole IICS Community by promoting the benefits of an engaged school community. All parents of students attending IICS are members of the PTA! Among all of us the PTA board is elected from volunteering parents.
The main purpose of the PTA board is to administer the community building activities of the PTA and support the school’s mission of securing for our children the highest standards in intellectual, physical, emotional and social education.

Constructive Communication
A forum where constructive communication between school and families is encouraged.
Community Connections
Social opportunities for parents, teachers and students to meet and participate in different activities building stronger community spirit and engagement.
Active Parent Involvement
An opportunity for parents to take an active role in their child’s school life by attending social and fundraising events, workshops about the ways education is changing, guest speaker evenings and Open Board Meetings.
Community Support
A platform to motivate the community to provide financial assistance for the student projects and initiatives, athletic teams, school community needs and charities.

Booster Club
Supporting Our Students Through School Spirit
The PTA Booster Club is a dedicated group of parent volunteers who support tournaments and school activities at IICS.
Our volunteers help by:
- Welcoming visiting teams during home tournaments
- Cheering on and encouraging our students
- Raising funds through food and drink sales for participants and spectators
Tournaments are typically held over one or two days and include teams from both local ISL schools and international CEESA schools.
How the Funds Are Used
Every dollar raised helps enhance extracurricular opportunities across both IICS campuses. Students also play an active role in helping decide how these funds are invested.

Whether or not your child participates in sports or activities, you're welcome to join. It's a rewarding way to support our school, meet other IICS families, and become part of our vibrant community.
