Eligibility
As per local regulations, students must hold a non-Turkish passport to be eligible for admission.
Application Timeline
We accept applications throughout the year. For enrollment at the beginning of the academic year in August, we recommend submitting your application by January or February.
Mid-Year Admissions
If you are applying during the academic year, we encourage you to submit your application as early as possible. Subject to space availability, students may begin school once the admissions process has been completed and placement has been confirmed.
Application Review
Applications are reviewed in the order they are completed. Students who meet the admissions requirements will either be offered a place or added to the waiting list, depending on availability.
Visit IICS
We strongly encourage families to schedule an appointment for a campus tour and interview with the Director of Admissions.
Visiting the school provides valuable insights into our community, helps answer any questions, and supports a smooth transition for your family.
Application Steps
01. Step Complete the Online Application Form
Visit iics.openapply.com/ apply to fill out and submit the online application form.
After submission, you will gain access to the checklist items required for the application process.
02. Provide School Records
Upload school records or reports for the last three years. If the documents are not in English, please include an official English translation.
03. Share Teacher Recommendation Forms
Use OpenApply to share Teacher Reference/Recommendation Forms with your child’s current teacher(s).
04. Upload Required Documents
A copy of your child’s passport (in JPEG or PNG format).
A recent photo of your child (headshot).
05. Sign the Financial Contract
Complete and sign the Financial Contract.
06. Fill Out the Health Form
Complete the Health Form, which can be signed by parents. A doctor’s report is not required.
07. Schedule an English Writing Assessment (Grades 6 and Above)
For students applying to Grade 6 and above, schedule an English Writing Assessment by emailing admissions@iics.k12.tr.
08. Transfer the Application Fee
Transfer the application fee and upload the receipt as proof of payment.
Next Steps
After completing all requirements, your child’s file will be submitted to the Principal for approval. The Admissions Office will notify you about the application status. If no place is available in the age-appropriate grade, your child will be placed on the waitlist.

Who is eligible for admission to IICS?
The Head of School reserves the right to refuse admission to a student if:
It is determined that the student would not benefit academically from the school’s programs
It is determined that the student’s scholastic/behavioural record is not suitable for the IICS school community
The student does not reside with a parent or recognized adult guardian
The student cannot meet the academic credit requirements for an IICS diploma by the end of Grade 12 due to their previous courses of study (for students applying after the start of Grade 9).
IICS believes it is unethical to accept any student whose educational, social, or emotional needs cannot be adequately met by the school’s program.
